MFA Communication

To enhance the security of your PayTrace account, we will soon require an additional layer of verification to log in. This new process will significantly reduce the risk of unauthorized account access.

New Verification Process

In the coming weeks, you may be required to verify your account using a one-time verification code that will be sent to the email address on file for your user account. You will need to provide the verification code to log into your account.

This process will apply for every user account that accesses your PayTrace account. Upon verification, you will only need to re-verify if you have recently reset your password when you log in from a new location, or if it has been 90 days since your last password reset.

If you are unable to verify your account, you will be locked out of your account and will need to call support to have your account access reset.

Next Steps to Take

Please make sure you have access to the email address associated with your user account as that is the only way you can retrieve your verification code.

If you are sharing a user account with anyone else in your organization, discontinue that practice immediately and create individual user accounts for each person who needs access to your PayTrace account. If you share a single user account but don't have access to the email address associated with that user, you may get locked out of your PayTrace account and be unable to log in.
