The PayTrace GO app is available for download on the Play Store and is compatible with Android devices (phones and tablets) running Android OS 5.0 (Lollipop) or later. With PayTrace GO, mobile devices can process credit card transactions in a simple and efficient manner. Transactions are securely transmitted to a merchant's PayTrace Professional account through the PayTrace API. Users can swipe or key-enter transactions as Authorizations or Sales. Creating and recalling customer vault information is available. Signatures can be captured via the device's touch screen, and receipts can be emailed to the cardholder. Previous transactions can be viewed, and unsettled transactions can be voided.

Andriod does not support older versions of OS, and we cannot guarantee that PayTrace GO will work on those versions.

The audio port lets the app connect to the MagTek uDynamo mag-stripe reader. If merchants have set up their email address under "Manage Email" to accept API receipts, PayTrace Go will automatically send them receipts via email. To process EMV transactions in addition to swipe and key enter transactions, you must connect via Bluetooth using an ID Tech VP3300 EMV reader.

Charging your uDYNAMO

If you are having issues connecting to your card reader or processing transactions - please make sure the card reader is charged.

Connecting the card reader to the app will show the charge level percentage of the card reader.

To use the uDynamo card reader, you must first charge its internal lithium-ion batteries. Connect the card reader to a USB host interface and ensure it is charging. A single battery charge allows the uDynamo to process up to 300 swipes. If the card reader is left on without any activity, the battery will last for approximately 3.5 hours. It can take up to 6 hours to recharge the battery fully. Additionally, ensure the device's microphone is turned on to use the card reader with your phone or tablet. We recommended that you work with your merchant service provider to source a properly configured card reader for use with PayTrace GO.
