Create an Authorization Using a New Card

Use the Image below and the corresponding numbers to guide you.

Access the Customer Card.

  1. Select the Authorization and Payments option within the menu.

  2. Select the Create Authorizations and Payments option within the menu.

  3. Enter the Amount you’d like to authorize.

  4. Select the Payment Source and Payment Doc from the respective dropdown options if applicable.

  5. Fill in the CC Number, Expiration Month, Year, and Security Code.

    • If this customer does not yet have a card on file and you’d like to save this card to the customer’s profile for future use, select Save Card to Customer.

  6. Select the Create Authorization From Existing Credit Card button at the top of the modalpage menu.

You should then see the authorization details appear in the table below the form.

Access the Customer Card.

  1. Select the Authorization and Payments option within the menu.

  2. Select the Create Authorizations and Payments option within the menu.

  3. Enter the Amount you’d like to authorize.

  4. Select the Payment Source and Payment Doc from the respective dropdown options if applicable.

  5. Select the Create Authorization From Existing Credit Card button at the top of the page menu.

Capture an Authorization

Use the Image below and the corresponding numbers to guide you.

Access the Customer Card.

  1. Select the Authorization and Payments option within the menu.

  2. Select View Payment History.

  3. Select the line for the authorization you’d like to capture.

    1. Scroll to the right to check the Status.

      1. Make sure it is in an “Authorized” Status.

    2. The payment source must be Sales Order, Sales Invoice, or Posted Sales Invoice

    3. Ensure that a valid Payment Doc has been selected

    4. Ensure the Payment Expiration Date is either the current or future date

  4. Click the Capture Authorization button at the top of the modal

Void an Authorization or Payment

Use the Image below and the corresponding numbers to guide you.

Access the Customer Card.

  1. Select the Authorization and Payments option within the menu.

  2. Select View Payment History.

  3. Select the line for the authorization or payment you’d like to void

    1. Must be either Authorized or Captured status

  4. Click the Void Payment button at the top of the modal and confirm
