Edit Merchant

Use this guide to edit an existing merchant within the Virtual Terminal.

Edit a Merchant

  1. Select Find Merchants from the Menu and or Dashboard.

  2. Enter the Merchant's Name.

  3. Click Search.

  4. Select the Merchant from the search results.

Once inside the Merchants Account

  1. Access the Account Menu.

    1. Select Edit Merchant.


Detailed Help

Contact

The business contact information and address.

Billing

The billing information that PayTrace will use to bill for our services.

Products

Select the type of Merchant Account you want to create and what add-ons they need.

Processor

The processing network on which this merchant account is to be established and their VAR information for processing.

Industry Types

  1. Retail/ Card Present
    For businesses with customers that come into the business in person.

  2. Direct Marketing
    For MOTO (mail order/telephone order) and is used for card not present merchants.

  3. e-Commerce
    For processing via a website or the API.

Check

The ACH details that PayTrace will use to process the merchant's ACH/Check transactions.

Close Account

This will close the account.

  1. Select Close Account.

  2. Leave a note and select a reason for closure.

  3. Click on Close Account.
